Recently, the "3rd China Clean Heating Industry Summit" organized by the Clean Heating Industry Committee (CHIC) of China Association of Building Energy Efficiency was successfully held in Beijing. With the theme of "Focusing on the guidance of dual carbon goals and accelerating the transformation of clean heating", the Summit officially released the Industrial Development Report of China’s Clean Heat Supply (2022) (hereinafter referred to as the Report). The clean heat supply project of Luen Mei Quantum (600167.SH) with multiple-energy complementation clean heat supply project was included in the Report as a typical case of clean heat supply.

According to the information, the Report focuses on green low carbon technologies and green financial services in the field of clean heating, analyzes the development status and problems of the clean heating industry, looks forward to the development trend of the clean heating industry, and shares and shows the application cases with advanced demonstration significance under the "dual carbon" goal.

The nine cases selected in the Report have outstanding characteristics in four aspects: Technological advancement, transformation demonstration, comprehensive benefits and pattern promotion. They conform to the principle of "Improvement based on supply and establishment before break-through", adhere to the green development philosophy of energy conservation and consumption reduction, quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, pollution reduction and carbon reduction and stick to the application of low-carbon, energy saving, heat pump, smart operation and other technologies for source end cleaning and terminal electrification, achieving the win-win of environmental benefits, social benefits and economic benefits. The pattern can be generalized.

Luen Mei Quantum’s Multi-energy Complementation Energy Supply Project included in the Report is located at Yuhong New City and is operated and managed by its subordinate high-tech enterprise-Guohui Environmental Protection New Energy Co., Ltd. The project is a large-scale  clean heating project for urban residents integrating clean and efficient utilization of coal, renewable water source heat pump, waste heat recovery and other multi-energy complementation and comprehensive utilization of resources and energy.

The greatest feature of this project is the application of water source heat pump technology and the comprehensive utilization of urban reclaimed water. As early as 2007, Guohui New Energy owned by Luen Mei Quantum began to explore the recycling of urban reclaimed water and invested in the construction of a reclaimed water source heat pump heating project in Yuhong New City, Shenyang. In 2021, Guohui Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. expanded and operated a reclaimed water source heat pump heat source station with a design heating capacity of no less than 35 MW. After connected with the original reclaimed water source heat pump project, it will achieve a zero carbon heating area for 3.1 million square meters, becoming the largest reclaimed water source heat pump heating project in China.
