On June 24, a signing ceremony and discussion on the framework cooperation of intelligent heating was held in Shenyang between Luen Mei Quantum and Huawei Cloud Computing Technology Co., Ltd. The two sides signed a cooperation agreement on the in-depth application of technologies such as cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence in the field of urban heating to promote the optimal allocation of resources, reduce energy consumption, reduce pollutant emissions, and enhance energy control and intelligent operation.
Recently the Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Shenyang City issued a circular publicly honoring enterprises and individuals that had fulfilled various heating tasks and showed extraordinary performances in the heating season. Of Luen Mei Quantum, five subsidiaries and 17 employees were thus honored, indicating the full recognition of Luen Mei Quantum, a leading clean heating enterprise, by the local regulatory government agencies.
On April 20, Zhang Lei, member of the Standing CPC Committee of Liaoning Province and secretary of CPC Committee of Shenyang, visited Hunnan Thermal Power on a tour of learning about the construction of the eco-friendly coal shed and its use at No. 2 Heat Source Plant. Luen Mei made new achievements in independent R&D in 2020. Its high-tech subsidiary Guohui Environment Protection was involved in seven R&D topics and projects in 2020. 13 of its patents applied were granted, 12 of which were patents for utility models and one of which was software copyright.
